Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to provide an analysis of a panel of 25 French small businesses, the representation they have of the sustainable development, the territories and their relations with local administration. Through a textual analysis, we show that the assumption of a local sustainable development driven by companies seems unrealistic to date. On the other hand, new territorial governance throughout the co-construction of resources by the couple companies-local authorities seems relevant but requires a real involvement of society stakeholders.
