Une introduction simple à la nouvelle macroéconomie ouverte
Jean-Christophe Poutineau
Revue française d'économie, 2020, vol. XXXV, issue 2, 3-50
Abstract:
This article proposes a simple neo-Keynesian model of a small open economy to introduce the main mechanisms of open macroeconomics. Our aim is to present some basic results from the field (such as Mundell-Fleming’s results on the effect of economic policy under polar exchange rate regimes) and to offer an extension of this framework to analyze further questions linked to recent developments in the field, such as the consequences of the international fragmentation of production and the development of the exchange of intermediate goods associated with it or the conduct of optimal monetary policy decisions in the context flexible exchange rates.
