Abstract:
Thorstein Bunde Veblen (1857-1929)?s work is an attempt to strip bare the deep mechanisms of capitalist society that were in the process of being assembled before his eyes that led him to place great emphasis on the relations between world of business and society. The article presents an overview of Veblen?s work and suggests that he can be viewed as one of the precursors of the Business & Society field.
