Abstract:
In a context of globalization, the question of Corporate Social Responsability (CSR) is taking an increasing place. Facing critics formulated by pressure groups on opportunist behaviours, enterprises now have to demonstrate that they act in a responsible way. However, CSR notion is subjective by nature as it refers to the place that one allows to enterprises in the society. Therefore, a societal approach of business follows from a process based on continuous relationships between a corporation and its different stakeholders. The author argues that CSR relates to a convention between actors.
