Abstract:
The various attempts to define the notion of ?exploration? in recent management (managerial) literature often reuse traditional notions and definitions already known in strategic management of innovation, which only leads to confusion. In this paper, the authors aim at characterizing, ex ante, the stakes of exploration streams management, by putting forward three different innovation regimes: sustaining, renewing renewal, and exploration.
