Abstract:
This article examines the innovativeness of older entrepreneurs compared to other categories of entrepreneurs. The empirical study was conducted on a database of 69054 entrepreneurs in 64 countries over the period 2001-2008, drawn from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor survey. The results show that older entrepreneurs are less innovative than younger entrepreneurs, both in terms of product innovation and process innovation.
