Abstract:
This exploratory research aims at better understanding how knowledge sharing operates in co- development of new products integrated suppliers as black box. In this case, design and manufacturing activities are driven by the supplier based on customer?s requirement specifications. The conceptual framework is built on the combination of early supplier involvement and knowledge management literature and three case studies. Our results especially underline the importance of knowledge translation for black box projects involving client and supplier in design phase.
