Abstract:
The management of social and solidarity enterprises is marked by various tensions, whether between different objectives or multiple stakeholders. This article addresses the management of these tensions in a multistakeholder cooperative through the study of a management tool, a procurement policy. The analysis of how this policy evolved and of its implementation reveals the mediating role it plays in various tensions (of belonging, organizing and performing), and a tension between ideals and practices.
