Abstract:
Our article studies work teams? dynamics through their routinization processes. Our analysis of the nature and intensity of relations between the teams? members leads to bridge the concepts of social capital and routines. We propose a conceptual framework standing (1) existing social capital among team members facilitates routinization and (2) social capital and routines have ambivalent effects on work teams? performance.
