Abstract:
This article discusses the issue of evaluation of social enterprises based on an action research conducted with the social business Grameen Veolia Water. This case study shows that hybridity of social enterprises necessitates hybridity of the evaluation itself both in its approach and its methodology. Hybrid evaluation, because of its specificity, may contribute to the effectiveness of social enterprise provided it is supported and used by both managers and employees.
