Abstract:
Based on a longitudinal case study of a mutualist company, this research deals with the confrontation between New Public Management (the principles of which govern the health system in France) and the mutualist values (strongly reaffirmed these days). Results show a penetration of the NPM and an instrumentalization of the social values and, at last, the coexistence of these two opposite ideologies.
