L’alchimie de la compétence
Thomas Durand
Revue française de gestion, 2015, vol. N° 253, issue 8, 267-295
Abstract:
Companies today aim to use their specific competencies to transform assets and resources into profits. Thy thus arrive at a new alchemy of competency. In providing clear and operational definitions of this concept, dearly lacking in much of the current literature on the subject, the author propose a three-dimensional model of competency based on knowledge (know-how), practices (implementing know-how) and attitudes (knowing how to be). The model covers not only the process of competency management but also its organizational structure, strategy and key identifying characteristics.
