Abstract:
Exacerbated development of the firm in hyper-growth is characterised by numerous tensions. How does the firm continue to renew itself without losing its balance? Longitudinal analysis of the make-up of a mid-size firm allows for the identification of several components of hyper-growth. These dynamics ? relating to growth rate, strategic space, activities, and the leader?s thoughts ? present the same structure: the dominant logic balances action whereas paradoxical tensions question it.
