Abstract:
In response to criticisms of business schools? education of management, we have developed a pedagogical method, the ?Ignorant Master?, adapted from the Jacotot method. It aims to give back all their richness to management situations and to ask for a more active students attitude. The method was tested in a French business school. This experience shows that, despite some diffi culties, it promotes better students engagement, and allows to introduce a place for the unexpected in the classroom.
