Abstract:
In this article, we propose a conceptual analysis of the consequences of entrepreneurs? humility and narcissism ? two seemingly contradictory but potentially complementary personality traits ? in the context of fundraising. More precisely, we study how entrepreneur expressedhumility and narcissism affect the probability of fundraising, through influencing investors? perceptions of the entrepreneur?s qualities and mutual compatibility.
