Abstract:
Despite rhetoric about the democratization of the company, critical literature about liberated companies emphasizes the lack of deliberation and pluralism: they remain dominated by a hegemonic liberating leader. By highlighting the limits of access to property and corporate governance, this article explores the democratic potential of combining an SSE status with the liberated model with two case studies. It demonstrates the democratic potential of the combination of a liberated work organization and an SSE governance, particularly through the establishment of organizational pluralism.
