Abstract:
While discussing the genesis and evolution of the classic Grounded Theory, we pay tribute to its founder, Barney Glaser, who passed away in 2022. We also analyze and highlight the impact of his work on French-language management science research. While the spirit of classic Grounded Theory is often respected, few research projects call upon its key precepts. This is why we also propose a memorandum and a summary for researchers and evaluators, to allow for the use of Grounded Theory to its full potential.
