Abstract:
The environmental dimension of Corporate Social Responsibility raises questions which differ from the problems of wage relations and market competition. Thus, we can consider that the manifestation of a corporate responsibility aims at releasing political constraint put on production by state and public opinion. Therefore, referring to an environmental responsibility may be analysed as a way to reintroduce the economic dimension in public debate which appears to have been put aside as stakes of industrial growth.
