Abstract:
Ethnographic account of a teaching experience This paper presents an entrepreneurship? teaching experienced in a Parisian engineering school. It highlights a double gap: The gap between a school that prepares students for technical positions in major enterprises, and the type of businesses that students might create due to their resources and the examples provided by their relatives; the gap between the procedural approach to creating business prescribed by the funding agencies and evidence collected by students during their surveys of family members, in which the creations of a company is best described as an ?essentially secondary effect? according to the concept developed by John Elster.
