L’économie solidaire comme mouvement social: des dispositifs de qualité pour s’identifier, agir et mobiliser

Diane Rodet

Revue française de socio-Economie, 2015, vol. n° 15, issue 1, 193-212

Abstract: This article aims at showing that solidarity economy is torn between social movement and economic activities, and that ?quality devices? (charters, certifications...) make it possible to reconcile those dimensions. Some of the most active members of this sector assert the critical dimension of their action. They foster the creation of devices in order to define and preserve collective identity. Those instruments are equally used as modes of action and mobilization so that a social movement can exist.
