Abstract:
Relying on the analysis of the regulation of community-based food circuits in four departments located in Southwest France, this article explores the way distinct local configurations of actors construct and support the development of the above-mentioned trade modes by defining them increasingly on a territorial basis. The traditional agriculture institutions are being challenged by new alliances between alternative agricultural organizations and territorial collectivities, which share a common vision about the re-localization of food.
