Revue française de socio-Economie, 2019, vol. n° 22, issue 1, 85-105
Abstract:
Based on interviews, this article aims to understand the practical and symbolic aspects of the ecological conversion of lifestyles, postulating that it contributes to social practices motivated by a concern for distinction. It shows that cultural resources modulate, in different ways depending on their mode of acquisition and their relationship with social trajectories, the effect of economic capital on ecological awareness.
