Revue française de socio-Economie, 2020, vol. n° 25, issue 2, 65-82
Abstract:
This article shows that male escorts? clients embrace the idea of the incompatibility of the intimate and the economic. It sheds light on the tensions and ambiguities that punctuate this experience. The payment is a critical moment that clients try to make invisible. This practice reveals how they try to influence the meaning of the escorting relationship.
