Libéraliser l'économie agricole européenne. Une analyse polanyienne
Samuel Pinaud
Revue française de socio-Economie, 2022, vol. n° 28, issue 1, 29-49
Abstract:
The article borrows the Polanyian analysis of forms of trade to study the transformations seen in European dairy trade since the 1960s. It focuses on the joint transformation of public regulation tools and underlying economic practices to analyze the role of traders in the process of embedding and disembedding the European dairy economy. Attention to commercial practices allows us to reveal certain fragilities in the process of the political disembedding of the economy that have existed since the reforms of the Common Agricultural Policy in the 1990s.
