Revue française de socio-Economie, 2022, vol. n° 29, issue 2, 71-89
Abstract:
The experience of the occupation of the ZAD (zone to defend) of Notre-Dame-des-Landes is often presented as an emblematic example of the implementation of a "self-government of the commons." However, many conflicts bring into opposition those who promote the collective management of resources and those who argue against the appropriation of non-human beings. This article explores the effect of this controversy on the evolution of the economic and political organization of the movement.
