Cycles longs et cycles de guerre: un débat relancé par la situation en Ukraine ?

Abstract:
Was the war now pitting Russia against Ukraine foreseeable, and should we be worried about it? The question of predictability is worth raising, since it seems to echo the warnings expressed by several authors many years ago in their work on wars and long cycles, in connection with the theories of N. D. Kondratiev. This article looks back at these contributions and sets out some discussion points.
