Performativité de l’économie ou pouvoir symbolique ?

Abstract:
A new trend in economic sociology, based on science and technology studies (STS), uses the concept of ?performativity? to identify certain ways in which economics is said to create the economic reality it is supposed to be about. My aim is to clarify what the concept of performativity can really explain. I express doubts concerning the relevance of such an approach, especially because it loses sight of the dimensions of power that structure performative efficiency.
