Revue internationale de droit économique, 2001, vol. t. XV, 2, issue 2, 161-196
Abstract:
This article deals with the latest developments regarding the establishment of a multilateral framework in international competition law. It evaluates the different options, specially the ones which have been proposed in the private and intergovernmental (among the WTO) spheres. The author defends the elaboration of a truly international legal system (a lex economica), which should at least be composed of two complementary aspects: some common substantive rules and a multilateral dispute settlement system. This study tries to examine the common principles in that field and discusses the adequacy of the present WTO dispute settlement system to the competition disputes.
