Abstract:
Some lawyer offices, among the biggest ones, wish to be affiliated to multi~disciplinary networks, which leads to strong resistance on the part of the majority of lawyers in office. This resistance has notably manifested itself in the set of internal regulations of the Conseil national des Barreaux français (National Council of French Bars), to the point that the conditions set for belonging to such networks lead in practice to their interdiction. There is a deontological clash.
