Abstract:
Innovation is more and more a condition to long run economic growth. As innovation is a complex process based on multilateral exchanges between actors, efficient public intervention can improve this process. The objective of this paper is to present the current state of Belgian regional innovation systems in order to underline the main performances and the main weaknesses, challenges for governments.
