Abstract: Appreciated for their price but in many cases neglected, the generical drugs try to penetrate the pharmaceutical landscape. Our analysis focuses on several legal and strategic mechanisms which either encourage or curb their development on the market. Beyond these mechanisms, it is especially a mentality change, encouraged by a balanced dialog between health professionals and consumers, which has to be implemented.
