Abstract:
The objective of this article is to evaluate the impact of the Walloon competitiveness cluster policy on the performance of financed firms. We focus on economic performance (employment, value added, etc.), but also performance in terms of research, development, and innovation. We adopt a quantitative approach, using difference-in-difference econometric methods, on the basis of firm-level panel data for the period 2003-2017.
