Le déclin de l'emploi est-il celui du salariat ? Vers un modèle de la qualification personnelle

Bernard Friot

Travail et Emploi, 2011, vol. n° 126, issue 2, 61-70

Abstract: Until the 1980?s and the reforms of the welfare system, Employment has been built by attaching salary rights to the job, the main ones being qualification and social contributions. Theses reforms tended to invert such a dynamic by invocating employment rescue in order to reduce job?s rights: employment?s decline to the benefit of employability on labour market is the main trend. Once ?rescued?, employment looses all its salary content. But the question of the becoming of such reforms is to know whether the employment weakening will not be an opportunity to invent a new base for salary rights: qualification attached to the worker and its consequences, lifelong wage. In that case, Salary would be reinforced.
