Abstract:
?The article focuses on highly skilled employees leaving multinational firms to create their own business in the renewable energy sector (mostly in solar energy) in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d?Azur region in the south of France. They seized both the opportunity of incentives to facilitate leaves offered by firms placed in a context of permanent restructuring and market prospects due to increasing environmental issues in society. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics, the motivations and the context of these former employees? mobility and the way they lead to two distinct profiles of entrepreneurs.?
