‪Crise du travail et redéfinition des frontières du social en Argentine à travers le prisme de la mobilisation des desocupados ‪

Pía V. Rius

Travail et Emploi, 2014, vol. n° 138, issue 2, 99-116

Abstract: ?The transformations of the Argentinian economy since 1970 have been changing income distribution. Its degradation deepened during the nineties. The 2001 December crisis that was experienced as an outstanding one, jeopardized the expectations of social integration by education and work. On the basis of an ethnographic research and a documentary analysis, the article especially analyses the organizations of ? ?desocupados? ? of the southern suburb of Buenos Aires and the way the members of these collectives and their neighbors live their working conditions and unemployment. The analysis of social policies shows a tension between the logic of the right to work and the logic of individual right to social welfare.?
