Abstract:
The paper is dedicated to a general analysisof the structural evolution of the modern capitalisticsociety and to its influences on the traditionalsocialist policy. In a first part - alreadypublished in "Economia & Lavoro" (2, 2012)- the structural changes of the contemporarysociety, and the unbelievable ascent of the Statein the economic life of the advanced societiesjoints to the crisis derived in the control of thepublic expenditures, have been examined. Inthis second part, on the ground of the developedconsiderations of the first part, are outlined themain concerns drawn by the above said changesin respect of a socialist policy today, and inwhich way they have modified and updated theold paradigms and postulates of that policy; andlastly what new ways and visions have been openfrom these changes. Brief, it is tried of assessingwhat is alive and what is dead today about thetraditional socialist policy, and which issues aresuggested as renewed and effective presence of apublic programming.
