Abstract:
The evolution of the insurance market in the Republic of Moldova during the first semester of 2011 was characterized by modest trends as regard the key indicators of the sector. Twenty four insurance companies and 68 insurance/reinsurance brokers operated during this period. Accordingly, competitive players are present on this segment, while the appearance of new players will boost the development of the insurance sector in the future.
