Abstract:
How well is known and proven by the specialists in the field but also the statistical data, services are economic activities which contribute substantially to the development of an economy, the creation of gross domestic product, employment and increase the quality of life of the people. However there are inequalities in their consumption, both at the national, regional and area of residence, inequalities that lead inevitably to different levels of living for the inhabitants of urban areas and those in rural areas. We have proposed in this paper to analyze the existing inequities in service consumption of Romania's population on residence in order to highlight specific issues that can be mitigated by measures that we propose to formulate at the end of this analysis. We use for this purpose a bibliographical apparatus and numerous statistical data provided by the National Institute of statistics of Romania.
