DYNAMICS AND THEIR DETERMINANTS IN HOUSEHOLD DEPOSITS IN LEI. CASE OF ROMANIA AFTER THE FINANCIAL CRISIS OF 2008

Abstract: In the article are examined on the one hand the dynamics of household deposits as the important component of saving behaviour and on the other hand the most important determinants of household deposits behaviour. The paper was structured in 4 sections. The first section represents a short overview of the related literature. Source data and methodological aspects are described in section 2. The dynamics of the population's deposits, is discussed in section 3, while section 4 explains the results obtained from the analysis carried out. The results of this study confirm the direct and influence of the variable like the exchange rate on the household deposits.
