Abstract:
The role of services in any economy and society is today increasingly obvious in light of several indicators highlighting the contribution of the tertiary sector in the achievement of the turnover, value added, completing the employed population but also as part of the investments in economics. Evolution of services both in terms of diversifying them but also as part of the consumption of population and companies have led to the identification of a well defined role in the economy both in terms of profit achieved but also in terms of the multiplied effect on other economic branches and also as part of the social economy. We have proposed in this paper to determine the share of services in the contemporary economy and in Romanian society based on descriptive statistical analyses also considering the conclusions of previous studies in the specialized literature.
