Abstract: The aim is also to identify a statistical regression models appropriate and as relevant to explain the evolution of the monthly household deposits although, in this respect, of all sorts of factors identified in the literature: demographic factors and the demographic change, of income, monetary factors, factors related to the fiscal-budgetary policies, behavioral factors that seem to become determinants, and the age structure of the population of Romania, were selected only those which have been identified monthly data series from January 2012. To verify the existence of causal relationships identified and determining the nature and intensity of their methodology was used the parametric statistical analysis of the correlation resorting to specialized software package SPSS v.23 for Windows. The paper is structured as follows: first is dedicate to the introduction and a short literature review, second part is about data overview and summary statistics, third section captures methodology and results and last section reflects conclusions.
