Abstract:
The aim of the research is to analyse the labour market in the region of Oltenia. The analysis is carried out in the period 1992-2015, and the data were taken from the database of the National Institute of Statistics of Romania. In the labour market, as in any other market, buyers as employers and salespeople meet as workers. They make transactions with labour services, being permanently influenced by the decisions of other participants on this market. Even if some of the players in this market are not active at all times, they are not looking for new workers or a new job, there are always organizations and workers who are trading.
