Abstract: The financial policy adopted by a firm puts its mark on its profit, which is why we chose this theme The main objective of this paper is to analyze the evolution of financial performance of some companies in order to form a picture of them, and then to observe the need to change the financial policies. For this, the ROA and ROE indicators of five companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange will be analyzed over a period of nine years. The main objective of the enterprise is to obtain profit, which can be achieved even more with the company performance and profitability indicators help the manager to create a correct image of the firm and make appropriate financial decisions. The funding sources, how the company's capital is purchased, distributed or managed, in short, the company's financial policy, has an influence the profitability of this.
