Abstract:
Foreign direct investment is currently an important mechanism for the implementation of technologies and know-how by providing foreign capital, especially in less economically developed countries, and is undoubtedly a major driver of development with obvious multiplier effects in all segments of the economy and society. Increased managerial performance, the development of new skills and abilities of employees, the creation of new jobs, increased production and productivity are just some of the direct effects of foreign investment. To all this we add their undeniable role in the implementation of know-how, especially in the green industry and the long-term sustainable development of the economy and society, as well as the achievement of the 2030 Agenda goals.
