Abstract: The goal of this research aims to look at the role of the intelligent technologies used in the Industry 4.0 framework such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), internet of things (IoT), cloud computing, and the impact of these technologies in resources susteinability and environmental protection, as one of the most important concerns. Integration of information systems with smart technologies, that can be found in the industry as modeled components carried out on economic processes, is being one of the most important factors for any company’s management in order to remain competitive in an increasingly sophisticated business. The ways in which Industry 4.0 influences the modelling of economic processes is a decisive factor in how a company's management decides to adopt such applications aimed at helping the company achieve its goals. Any application adopted by the company has decisive influences in the subsequent approach to the way of working related to a department, division, so the way it is adapted must be one that helps in the subsequent processing of the information necessary for the development of the business itself.
