Abstract:
Digitization brings significant changes in the public sector, influencing financial processes and the degree of transparency. The objective of the research is to analyze the impact of the implementation of digital technologies on financial transparency in the public sector, with an emphasis on reducing corruption and making decision-making processes more efficient. The paper analyzes how the implementation of digital technologies improves access to financial information and contributes to the reduction of corruption. Methodology based on case studies and statistical analysis is used to highlight the positive effects and associated challenges. The results demonstrate that digitization can support transparency by automating processes and providing real-time data if implemented correctly. The digitalization of government services is an effective strategic tool in combating corruption, positively influencing public trust.
