Abstract: Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize, understand and manage both one's own emotions and those of others effectively. It's a concept that has gained popularity in the field of personal development in recent decades. In his works, Thorndike addressed the idea that success in life is not solely determined by cognitive intelligence or intellectual abilities, but also by a person's social and emotional capabilities.
