Abstract: The article has as purpose the analyze, from theoretical point of view, as well as from the point of view of judicial practice, the institution of placement. After a short presentation of child’s special protection measures and of placement are underlined the effects produced by its instauration and, finally, it is discussed the cessation of this special protection measure.
