Abstract:
In spite of strategic importance, attractiveness and relevance of modernization of Siberia and the Far East its plans that insufficiently consider real limitations, risks, opportunities and threats associated with the existing institutional environment.. The author analyzing trends, prospects and efficiency of the Siberia development provides a “road map†of the region’s social and economic space, considers three vectors of the modern spatial development of the eastern regions and reviews the role of the Russian-Chinese economic relations in the modernization of the region.
