Abstract:
Article is devoted to the methodological foundations for the analysis oftransformation processes of government institutions in Russia. Relying on the institutional setting, the author proposes a socio- anthropological approach as a tool to explain the interaction of the political elite as a key actor of institutional transformation and the main political institutions of the modern Russian state. The proposed approach opens up broad prospects , allowing to take into account a number of factors such transformation, as the characteristics of the political elite , the situation mismatch of formal institutions and informal practices of the elite , as well as the resources necessary for the implementation of informal institutionalization as a special social action.
